Admission Offers - September 2026 Entry

March 2nd 2026 - Essex County Council have now notified parents and carers of the allocated secondary school for their child/children starting Year 7 in September 2026.

We would like to take this opportunity to offer a warm welcome to our new Year 7 students who will be joining Clacton County High School from September 2026

You will soon start to receive updates and further information regarding the process of transition to our school in preparation for September.

The CCHS Transition Team will be making visits to primary schools at the start of the summer term. The purpose of these visits is to meet our new students face to face - for us all to be introduced, and to describe what it's like to be a CCHS student. The team will also meet with key colleagues in each of the primary schools to gather as much information as possible to ensure that the start at CCHS is smooth and positive.

There will then be an Induction Evening will take place on Thursday 11th June, where we invite our new students and their families to school for an introduction to the school, where they can find out more about CCHS, the transition process and to meet key people.

Our new students will then attend their CCHS Induction Day on Thursday 25th June when they will get the chance to have a guided tour of the school and get to do some sample lessons. They will also meet some of the adults in the school who will help and support them throughout their time with us. We will also be distributing this year's 'CCHS Year 6 into Year 7 Induction Booklet' that will provide more information about our school and what to expect to help prepare them for starting their secondary education at CCHS in September.
