BTEC Applied Level 3 Music
Students who have a love of music, play an instrument, enjoy composing and exploring creativity through the medium of music will be ideally suited to this course. The music facilities at Sigma Sixth Tendring Campus include a Mac suite, state of the art music studio and several well-equipped rehearsal rooms. The environment enables the students to craft their own musical journey, developing and training specifically in their preferred musical field.
The music course has many options within the unit choices and this allows the student to build a portfolio that will evidence a strong work ethic and specialist skillset that employers and further educational establishments interview panels are looking for.
Assessment in the course: the course is made up of 90 credits in total.
30 units are a core externally assessed unit and the remaining 60 credits are assessed internally and moderated by the exam board.
Students need to have achieved a minimum of 4 grades 4-9 incl. English and Maths.
