BTEC Level 3 Health & Social Care

This Applied L3 Health & Social Care course is unique as it offers students practical and in-depth analysis of the health and social care system available in the UK. The pivotal element of the course is the exploration of practical skills of communication, team working and supporting clients in real life scenarios.

Students can opt for the Foundation Diploma or the Diploma, which offers work placements for 100 hours between two health and social care placements, expanding the practical elements of working within the sector.

Assessment in the course: two/three exam units, Unit 1 – Human Lifespan Development and Unit 2 – Working in the Health and Social Care sector and four/six coursework units.

Entry Requirements:

Students need to have achieved a minimum of 4 grades 4-9 incl. English and Maths.
