Welcome Back to School - Outstanding Summer Exam Results

Welcome back to school, we hope that everyone enjoyed a very happy and healthy summer break. We extend a very warm welcome to all of our new Year 7 students and their parents, and to our new members of staff.
Outstanding Summer Exam ResultsFor all our current students, the key to success is to work hard, make the most of all the opportunities available and to highlight this, in August, our GCSE and A Level students celebrated receiving some wonderful results.
At GCSE top performers include Thea (ten subjects at grade 8/9); Laurelin (seven subjects at grade 8/9 and 3 subjects at grade 7); Shadman (seven subjects at grade 7+); Katie and Hannah who both achieved nine subjects at grade 7+; Libbi (eight subjects at grade 7+); Daniel and Cole who both achieved six subjects at grade 7 or above.
Chris Taylor, Head of School said, “There were some stunning individual outcomes and amazing stories of success that have enabled all our students to progress onto apprenticeships, sixth form or further education.”
Outstanding Summer Exam ResultsAt A-Level there were many outstanding individual results with the vast majority of students achieving their first choice place at university. Executive Headteacher, Neil Gallagher said, “I am delighted for our students and their families, my congratulations go out to them all. We have seen exceptional achievements across the board; the proportion of students achieving the highest grades is very impressive and nearly all of our sixth form students have secured their first choice university place. This has been down to the incredible efforts made by the students and their teachers; I cannot praise the staff here at CCHS more highly for their commitment and dedication to our students. My congratulations to all of the students and their families and I wish them every success for the future.”
